What free forum service provides the most power?

Whether it be ad-supported or not. Of course, I mean stuff like Forumotion or ProBoards. Note the power commented on must be what someone originally gets when signing up - not an upgrade.

forumotion and proboards both give decent stuff to you as free forum
but i do not recommend either of them

(forumotion sucks but proboards even more lol - i know because i been using proboards for my own forum for over a year now and people who are not registered with you now get bothered for using adblock.... they taking people their freedom away basically because they hungry for more money........ and not just that, i been mistreated by the staff team of proboards, which is ridiculous, them admins get paid for this stuff and actually have an office and everything... yet one of them was being a total dickhead to me several times.... so much for professionalism)

Are you sure it's not related to the hosting plan you had? I have difficulty believing any forum software is truly bad; normally something else is going on.
