I never pre-order a game since there are many games which I still never played, so by the time I buy the game, the game is available, or the price got reduced because it is an older game when I buy it.
I think I've pre-ordered Assassin's Creed IV, but I want to get in and pre-order GTA 5. Not sure if I'll do it for Beyond: Two Souls. I'll probably pick that one up just randomly.
I bought splinter cell, although I didn't pre-order.
I don't like to pre-order, especially with triple a titles because you're never sure what your getting, all you know is what their marketing tells you.
Seriously, the market for the games I like is so non existent in my area that I can just walk into the first game shop I see, take the box off the shelf, bring it to the counter and walk out with said game paid for with no fuss.
Indeed, the last time pre-ordering was even remotely relevant around here was when the Wii was first released in 2006, and buying games without a pre-order was never difficult even before then.
Don't think I've ever pre-ordered. That may change at some point before the high definition, international version re-release of Final Fantasy X comes out on 31 December. Very much enjoyed that game, and am looking for an excuse to play it again on the PS3 Slim when the semester ends.
I pre-ordered watch dogs the other day but when it comes to pre-orders I never go for the versions with extra crud that comes with it I just don't see the point so just normal versions for me.
I've got both Call of Duty: Ghosts and Battlefield 4 pre-ordered for Xbox 360 right now. Will exchange them for Xbox One copies for $10 trade in with the deal GameStop has when I decide to upgrade to the Xbox One console.
