If cash wasn't an issue. If you could have a debate mod for Xenforo, how would you want to have it setup? Try and get the mod as close as you can to a real debate.
I have just been thinking about this and have a basic idea right now.
Have your everyday topics in the debate area.
Someone wants to have a debate with you on that subject, you click *Lets Debate*.
A new box pops up and you then ask if the person wants to debate.
You submit.
The other person gets an PM and an alert.
They click into it and accept. now a new panel opens and each person has 5 posts each to tell us where they stand.
No one else can see this.
Once they are done, they both agree that they are.
A new topic with a poll is made and others can vote on who wins.
With a time limit for voting.
Another way is to have a page so people can setup wanting to debate. So you can look at the topics those people are interested in. And maybe get a debate going like that.
