What if: Your job gives you a paid break.

If your job gave you a surprise three day paid break to rest and recuperate, what would you do with those three days?

I would first get some sleep, then spend my time fixing things up around the property that needs fixing.

I kinda get 2 months of this, but it's just because I chose how to get paid.

If I only got 3 days.... Soo the first day would be going out shopping etc. 2nd day would be spending time with family and third day would just be relaxing.

Technically speaking, i'm on a paid break for the rest of this month.

I've just been sleeping and watching 10 hours of Netflix the past 3 days.

I’d say I’d get some sleep but Typically when I’m off I have kids to look after 🙂 so I might schedule naps for everyone to catch up on sleep

Yes it carries over into the next year. Some employers hate people stockpiling them and try to get people to use them every year. I don't have one of those but we do have office closure around Christmas so gotta use some of it for that. 🙁

Sick leave doesn't carry over. We get 10 days sick leave per year.

I'd sleep around 12 hours each day for those three days. I wouldn't ever get out of bed. 😛
