There is a difference between a leader and a boss.
A boss says, "Go!"
A leader says, "Let's go!"
A boss is a traditional leader, someone who commands. A boss often imposes authority. Now what is a leader? A leader is someone who leads with a sense of teamwork. A 21st century leader is a servant leader, a person who empowers and uplifts people while promoting teamwork as he and his followers achieve their goals together. No one is left behind. Teamwork makes the dream work.
Any good leader I've ever seen has always been one that has been a great servant. How well you serve will define how well you lead. Also, a leader is not responsible for the results but only the people who are responsible for the results. Take a people willing to grow and place them in a place that is suited to bring forth said growth and there will be no end in sight to what they can accomplish through your leadership.
A people who's leader has demonstrated that he or she will care for their own will be one that is more honest, more open, more trusting and more willing to be shaped by the leader who leads them. Most of the time, you will find yourself moving quickly to shield yourself off from most people because that bond of trust isn't there but when you have it is when you'll notice you will act differently around that person then you do others because of that trust you have for him or her that has been proven time and again by how that leader has taken care of you in every circumstance even in times when it has cost him or her to look after you in your time of need.
