Here is what Anonymous really is.

A letter from Anonymous. This tells you their intentions
and possible targets.

Amazing! This really was an eye opener, just WOW.

But to be fair this is better than all the coverage shitty gaming websites are trying to put about the 1337 haxx0rs called anonymouse.

If you really want to know more about them, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anonymous_(group) is a great site to look at.

Anonymous is not a bad group, they just have a different way of protesting there opinions.

I actually think that they are really just trying to help spread freedom of speech which, if you watched their intentions, is stated by them.

They aren't a group, calm down 😛 They are just little kids. I don't take them seriously one bit.

I really dislike little kids like them.

I really would not mess with these "little kids". If you read up on them they are actually not a specific age group and you really can't blame them for hacking Sony this time. They did not even touch the servers.

Really? They are just some people who use torrents too much. Nothing more, they honestly mean nothing to me. It is just as if the pre-school got computers.

I'm not entirely sure you understand fully what they're capable of. Now, I can see how being staff at a relatively popular forum might give you the delusion you have some good grip on internet culture and the way things work, but don't be fooled; you haven't even scratched the surface. This thread is not up to par with what a full definition of Anonymous should explore, and possibly could.

All i'm going to say is, choose your words carefully. Recently FP has started dabbling in dropping the name Anonymous quite frequently, and if the wrong thing is seen by the wrong person this place could go from tame to internet warzone in a matter of seconds. Don't believe me? Ask the WBC.

-- 27 Apr 2011, 18:39 --

The arrogance in this post is astounding.

You think because I am staff I know everything of the internet? No. Don't make assumptions.

I know crap when I see crap.

Practice what you preach.
No I'm good. I like to assume because I don't usually have a lot of time :great:

Lol, whatever floats your boat. I just figured as forum staffer and someone who has contributed a great deal to this forum you'd be more concerned for the well being of the community than to basically stand up and ask someone to raid it.

These "little kids" have access to everyones address, credit card details, birth dates, passwords, etc. As stated by CNN news.

These "little kids" have managed to keep a huge network down for more than 1 week.

I think these guys are serious.

Your "Post" totally contradicts what Infiniatejests "post" said about how they didn't "touch" the "PSN" network. You can't get the story right with these little kids now "can" you?

I said nothing of the sort. Also, "Infinite" :great:

I'm not cutting and running. I asked you if you wanted to continue this to PM me. Which you have not done  and probably will not

I see no point. The entire basis of your argument has been "They're little kids" although there are numerous events to indicate otherwise. DDoS attacks of Tumblr, the RIAA, the Australian Government, the Church of Scientology, and the Westboro Baptist Church to name a few. Not to mention they're a prime suspect in the recent hacking of Sony's Playstation Network. Oh, also note their involvement in the WikiLeaks controversy, recent middle east uprisings, and several cases of animal abuse.

There is quite literally no point to arguing with you as thats like trying to convince someone you need oxygen to breathe. Its horribly obvious how true the facts are, but they refuse to accept it out of some personal choice of ignorance.

You're making a fool of yourself.
