Hi guys,
Hope you all heard about Google new update "hummingbird". Actually what is it? What has Google released it for? How does it work? Please tell me anyone in details. thanks in advance.

Hummingbird is used August 2013 by Google. Hummingbird places greater emphasis on page content making search results more relevant.

“Hummingbird” is the name of the new search platform that Google is using as of September 2013, the name comes from being “precise and fast” and is designed to better focus on the meaning behind the words. Google Hummingbird is designed to apply the meaning technology to billions of pages from across the web, in addition to Knowledge Graph facts, which may bring back better results.

Hummingbird another algorithmic tool which understand the meaning of the words in articles and help crawlers to understand the nature and importance of the article.

Google Hummingbird is a search algorithm used by Google. Google started using Hummingbird about August 30, 2013, and announced the change on September 26 on the eve of the company's 15th anniversary. Gianluca Fiorelli said Hummingbird is about synonyms but also about context.

Hummingbird introduced the importance of mobile devices to search. For the first time, mobile responsive designs clearly have taken on increased importance. Many have argued that it’s also critical to have a mobile content strategy: that is, to assume that readers will be accessing your content from a variety of devices including smartphones and tablets and creating your content with a mobile-first mindset.
