I heard that SEO is a really big deal to get a YouTube channel noticed. I of course would like to be noticed, but I dont really know how SEO works. Expecially not for YouTube videos. So could someone explain to me what SEO is, how it works, and how to use it for video promotion?

SEO or "Search Engine Optimization" is getting your site ranked higher on the search engines. Or for Youtube, getting ranked high when people search for a certain subject. You should share your videos as much as you can to gain backlinks so that your videos rank higher when people search for them.
