What is the best promotion forum?

Just wondering what everyone thinks is the best promotion forum out there 😉

FP duh! This forum has offered the best results that I have ever seen out of a promotion forum. There were a few that used to compete with it back in the day, but those have all died off.

Forum Promotion is obviously the best. The Hazey is a close second, even though they're not exactly a promotion forum. Both are the best forums out there when it comes to promoting your forum, website, blog, referral link, etc.

It used to be Wober, then they changed their services, now no other forum is statistically more successful than Forum Promotion. As cmt said, The Hazey is a solid second.

The only success I've had with FP is post exchanges. Never really got a steady member.

I agree, and that is sorta off topic... the question is "what is the best promotion forum?" Not "Advertise your site."

At the moment, I'm getting a lot of traffic, more than FP. ( that's why I posted ) So, I wanted to throw my cards on the table, but if you think it's off-topic, a mod can delete my post. ( doesn't really matter much )

I love forum promotion, and help it by now requiring my staff to have a minimum of 50 posts here before I accept them into a position.

In terms of services, probably here. But in terms of getting members... none of them are very good.

You're best off advertising in the genre you are apart of. Advertising by means of posting intelligently on other forums or blogs of the same genre as these people are going to be more likely to click your link than another webmaster who is also looking for members on a promotion forum.

Work with that and your SERP, and you will see constant traffic.

I've got to say of the years I've been on the web promoting forums, FP is one of the best. Other ones only cover one type of board, FP does all.

It doesn't matter how many hits you get (check bounce rate too). FP has a solid and strong community of members that all pretty much post with each other on a daily basis proving for a closer relationship between the members making the forum stronger. Not post-exchange members 😛
