So most of us here have jobs and whilst I’m sure the majority of us are not doing our dream jobs I’m curious what some of the worst parts are about yours?

For me it’s the fact it’s shift work and you can’t leave until the relief shift comes in so even if they are late etc you are stuck there until someone takes over.

When I worked, the worst part was having to charge the clients for every minute of my day, whether I had work to do or not. It was difficult trying to get my hours covered, but also considering how many hours the Manager had allotted for the Project Admins to have on each project. Going over was bad, but hey, I needed to get paid somehow.

The only thing I don't really care for is running the Eagle since it's the only job that I currently know at work that requires you to stand. It's also a very fast paced machine and there's moments where the machine will stop and you have to get the check and coupon unstuck. I'm also a short guy so I have to use a step stool to get checks unstuck and going up and down a stool wears you out! Also, if you're not careful, you might accidentally pull a belt off and I currently don't know how to put them back on lol. I had to run it today, lately I have been getting lucky to where I don't run it on Saturdays anymore since they changed the time we get mail, but second shift got 68 trays in last night so they left 33 for us to run. They at least did clean up the trays of mail though so that made it easier for me. I'm not the fastest at cleaning the trays of mail. That's the task that slows me down... Thankfully I usually get help if I have a certain amount of trays, and I only had to run it for a few hours as opposed to all day.

I think the worst part of my job is waking up to go there. Once I get there, it's not bad. :3

Worst part of my job is that it starts too early in the morning.... but I do like being done with my work day and home by 3pm everyday.

I love my job but the one thing I'm starting to get annoyed with is the irregularity of working hours I have. I might have days where I start work at 6am and finish work at 6pm but I don't necessarily work 12 hours. I get to be home for maybe 2 hours in between but it's on stand-by for potential extra work. So you just never know how your day is going to be like. You know when you begin, you estimate when you are done but in between, it's a surprise. All day, every day, all year round.

That would frustrate me, how do you manage to plan anything? Are you paid to be on stand by?

Dealing with rude people who treat you like you're nothing.

People who argue about their balances and say that they "are not paying", even when they owe it, and get cussed out for being right when they are wrong. Been doing it for almost 2 years now, though.

The hardest part of my job as a tutor is getting the students to focus. A lot of times students don't understand a lesson is just that they don't pay attention. They are always distracted.

The worst part of my job as a fashion designer is to understand the context that a client is asking for a particular clothe design. When you miss that context, no matter how good you are, you won't satisfy the client.

I'm lucky to say I have not been in a very bad job, but I have had my experience. Worse I say, is you being used

I have to deal with this also. I love dealing with my regulars 'cause we'll talk and have all sorts of interesting conversations.....it makes my day go a lot better. But it only takes one rude person to ruin your whole day.

I used to work in retail and I know exactly what you mean. I would get nice people, I had regulars who would always say hi to me whenever I stocked the shelves and they were always happy to see me. Any time I was on vacation they would notice and would see me the following week and tell me that they missed me the week before. That's the only thing I liked about working in retail, the nice regulars were always a treat to interact with! Still as I previously mentioned the eagle is my least favorite thing at my job. I had to run it on Friday and Saturday and I ran into lots of issues back to back.

The worst part of my job as a music producer is that when you work for up to two hours, your ear becomes compromised. You have to take intermittent breaks to get your ears refreshed. That's makes a single project to take so long to complete.

I started my working life as a secretary and what I hated was filing My boss would make fun of me and say may be I will find the paper in my pile😀
