What is the worst sound to be woken up to?

Would have to say somebody yelling. I used to think I needed the loudest most obnoxious alarm ever, but I've since learned a more peaceful waking sound just sets the mood.

Crickets. The phone. The gravel truck/grader out on the road when they're laying new gravel and grading it down early in the morning.

As I live in a shared residence where we have a cleaner, I definitely have to say the cleaner when she decides to either vacuum at 8:30AM, or bang around in the bathroom while she tries to be as loud as possible while cleaning the toilet...
