What is with all the violence, drugs, etc.?

In late 2008, almost 2009, you would think society would have evolved...
Instead there is political scandals, people assuming 2/3 of the Internet
is either fake or predators, or all the people that go to chats talking
about how they wish they were "gangsters". Have people lost out on
the concept of common sense?!

Is this where society is heading?!

Common sense isn't that common -😉-

I blame the press as they are the ones that say all this stuff and inform people about all the bad things. Society might not be heading in a bad way but it is just made to look like it by the amount of things covered by the press and the amount the play with stories and figures/statistics. In the past the press used to not bring up as much negative stuff as now and they now bring alot more to the people attention which makes people think negatively.
