What is wrong in this world?

Perhaps someone else want to say what's wrong with the world.

Violent media doesn't make us violent but it does showcase our violent nature in the fact we enjoy partaking in realistic visual representations of violence. If we did not have such a nature then no joy would come from violence as it would make us shudder or bring us to disgust to see such media. Then again man is depraved by nature which is why the world is as it is. To say it's just a few people out of many would not explain the totality of the depravity done by man every day all over the world. it doesn't have to be this grand show like we see on the news as it's all those little things that illustrate the nature of man in their natural state.

Of course those who are saved through the belief both spoken and in the heart of the gospel of Jesus Christ who repent of their sins and put their trust in Him are redeemed and made new creatures who will show themselves to be drastically different from those who aren't saved. Sadly so few are saved these days which is why the world has become so wicked and depraved. That is what is wrong with our world as every problem you could think of links back to that which we are not doing which is putting our faith in Jesus rather then ourselves as it's clear as day we aren't doing a good job of fixing anything.

I can say I once had a deep enjoyment in violence in movies as well as video games but that has all been fading away and is pretty much gone now in the years since I was saved. 🙂

So, let me get this straight. You're trying to say religion can "save" you because you sinned enjoying violence in media? That is nothing more than a joke. Media is simply that - MEDIA! Just because we enjoy violence in movies doesn't mean we enjoy it in real life. Just because we'd watch someone's head get chopped off in a movie doesn't mean we'd watch or even condone it in real life. Don't even try to make it out that liking violence in the media is a bad thing.

Hmm... religion=/= Christianity. Many actual religions use it but it on its own is not religion. I understand how hard it is to see that difference though. Christianity isn't about you doing stuff to save yourself but believing in the One(Jesus) who did the works necessary to save you that you could not do on your own while religion is all about you doing works to earn your salvation. A minor difference but a huge one that most don't see.

You don't get me when I say enjoying it just displays your nature. It on its own isn't the problem but it does highlight what your problem and the problem of so many actually is. People can conceal it when the cost of doing so is low but when the cost is high is when people reveal it. One example of this happening here is the chaos following the landfall of Hurricane Katrina. For some, the only thing stopping a person from committing violence is the idea that someone is watching or could stop them. When it's ensured that no one is going to come is when people come out with their real nature or when the reward for displaying it is higher then it is to conceal it. Reward and punishment are what keeps most people from being who they really are thought it can also be what brings it out of someone as well.

Why exactly do you enjoy violence in media anyway? Did you ever seriously asked yourself why you find it so appealing?

I was once like you who enjoyed violence in media and it translated into my nature as well. I never expressed it to any great extent but I knew it was there back then. The enjoyment of it along with the desire to watch it on various forms of media is gone these days along with many other things since I was saved by the gospel of Jesus Christ. It doesn't mean I don't watch it as you really can't avoid it unfortunately in media but I find no particular enjoyment out of it.

When we look at society as a whole, you can't help but to think about the way the world is evolving. Believe it or not, technology was done way back in the ancient days. They just didn't call it technology then. As the years passed, the words and labels we give different aspects of life has changed since then.

I'm sure that most of you have heard of the 'New World Order'. The problem with the world today is because of the dedication that the 'Big Wigs' are trying to accomplish: New World Order. If you look at how 'technology' has evolved, everything we do will eventually consist of data being put on a chip or chips. (computer microchips) By being able to have every aspect of our lives on this chip, the 'Big Wigs' will have total control of everything we do.

Credit Ratings, schooling, purchases, etc... will all be downloaded into this chip that will be inserted into each and every one of us when we are born. Our lives will be one big computer program. Remember the movie "The Matrix", that's reality people. Maybe not to the extent of how they portray it in the movie, but pretty damn close.

Robots taking over our thinking for us. Don't you think that if we give these machines the ability to learn on their own, give them the ability to have emotions, that one day the faith of the human race may lie in the hands of the few robots that will posses the emotion of sympathy. I don't know about you but that is scary to me. I mean think about it. If one or more of these robots get angry for some reason, it'll be over for us.

I can go on and on about the new world order saga. However, I will leave with this; don't close your eyes to this breakthrough. The government and many 'Big Wigs' are working right now to make this happen as I'm typing this. Just think: one bill for all of you bills, one grocery store, one banking company, one car dealership, no unemployment, no social security, no Medicaid or Medicare, one headquarters for all the companies you can work at, and on, and on.
