What is wrong?

It takes time as your forum is new and it is always hard for forums when they are new but stick with it and over time it will take off.

How have you been promoting it? Which way of promoting has worked the best for you?
 
None lol, i need to cut down on the amount of sections but its difficult cus i cut get rid of a motogp section and then someone comes along who likes motogp and then he goes, so i cant really cut it down.
 
Thats probably your answer then -razz-

If you are not promoting them people won't find your forum and if people can't find your forum they can't sign up -😉-
 
I am promoting all the time i meant that everything promoting but it dont work.
 
maybe make sub forums instead so it doesn't look like you have lots of forums
 
Well i suppose that is an idea but i cant really place them into catagorys. I think i just need to get the attention of motorsport fans, there dosent seem to be that many on these kind of promotion forum. I have tried on another motorsport forum but i was banned lol.
 
I have tried these surfer websites that get you traffic but people dont look at the site they only go on the site to get extra credits.
 
Those type of sites never work really for anyone as you do get millions of visitors but that that is all they are as they just doing it to get credits.

What i would recommend is joining similar forum and maybe asking to affiliate with them... The worst the owner can say is no. If not then be an active member on their forum then over time add a link to your site. Don't say we are the best or anything as that might get you banned.
 
On my forum i have an affiliates section at the bottom as i dont like the protal. But this can only be seen by members. There is a forum being advertised at the minute called F1 Talk. I might ask them to affiliate and may unlock the affiliate section for all to see.

Also as Sbfc said post exchanges might be good as it will increase your members and post count which will make it look active and would make it more appealing for guests as the more active it is the more likely people are to sign up.
