Our desktop & laptop is just Dell. We've always had good experiences with this brand so keep with what we know. We've had good luck for the amount we use it.
I have a desktop and also a laptop that I use on the desk and also an Amazon Fire tablet 8 on a stand to display things on while I'm doing my bits 😛
My current system is below and saving up for a new and better GPU, like to get the 3000 series or maybe the new 4000 series. Money is the pooped side at the moment. The laptop I have is Asus 5500u that I have had for 5 years and is going strong.

I had so many built and owned PCs over the years, at the moment I have six PCs around the house.
I've got three laptops and a desktop. The desktop is a old prebuilt ibuypower from 2014, I need to get around to cleaning it up and making sure it works. Last time I booted it up, the graphics card was giving me grief since I had artifacts on the screen and I was simply just browsing Facebook at the time... One laptop is a Lenovo Ideapad, a HP Pavilion gaming laptop (I need to reinstall Windows on it or some other operating system since a update got screwed up... Plus the sound card needs to be replaced since the microphone is broken...) The one I use currently is a ROG Zephyrus gaming laptop, it's about two years old.
