Ahh, childhood. A time when life in general was easy going and pleasant, or at least the movies and cartoons were. Even as adults, I think we all reminisce fondly of some of our favorite movies and cartoons. For me, I had many, but one of them was actually "The Smurfs". I love this silly, little, blue guys and how "smurfy" everything was. How about you? When you think back fondly of what you loved watching as a kid, what comes to mind?
For me it has always been Naruto, I practically grew up with it, the manga was first serialized in 1997, my birthyear, and then the anime was introduced in my country in 2003, when I was 6, I still remember the first time I watch in on my family's old TV, the way I marveled at the idea of being a ninja, the embarrassment when remembering that I tried to run like them throughout my childhood, and Sakura, I can always see myself in her, always trying to catch up so that she won’t be left behind by her great teammates. They are all precious memories to me.
I grew up watching anime shows like Dragonball Z and Yu Yu Hakusho on Cartoon Network with my little brother. Those were fun times back when I was growing up.
