Nice I will say I am thinking about changing. The reasons are:

Playstation is free to play online games
Microsoft charge money to play online games.

Microsoft charge money to play online games.

Playstation requires PS+ (PS4) to play games online now. Just $10 less than Microsofts Xbox Live.

Main perks really over Xbox One is the free monthly games that PS+ members get on Playstation. You will get a lot more in return than what you're paying for PS+.

I didn't know that PlayStation was not free to go online. I thought it was. However if it is cheaper, I will probably swap my Xbox For PS4. 🙂

PS3 is and will always be free to play online,

PS4 had to beat the competition so started charging,

I honestly wouldn't swap a Xbox One for the PS4 but Xbox 360 would be decent as the features the PS4 has deserves to charge a little bit

because a console is a PC with specific peripherals and operating system. on a desktop you can dual boot or more and use the same peripherals as the consoles without spending so much cash.

There not the same. Xbox charge more money to go online compared to PS4. That is the only difference I can think of it. 🙂
