When playing sports, what is the most embarrasing moment you've ever had?

For me there has been quite a few. One time in particular was when I was playing in goal (football / soccer) for my school and we were playing against a rival team. They took a shot from the half way line, although it didn't seem as though it was going to go anywhere near the goal. Anyway the ball was rolling at a pretty fast pace through the 18 yard box when I started to jog towards it to control it and boot it up the field. Unfortunately though, I misjudged the speed of the ball and ended up stepping over it instead of controlling it with my left foot. Needless to stay the ball carried on going and trickled over the goal line...much to the amusement of my team mates ~redface~

Let's see my worst moment would probably have to be when I was playing goal. It was a corner kick and I jumped up for it, but when I caught it somehow it slipped out of my hands and rolled into the goal. My team was pretty annoyed.

Probably when i was playing rugby, i got too excited when i got the ball and when sprinting up the field i saw some guy coming at me, so i passed the ball to one of my team mates in front of me accidently, as you may know you can only pass behind you. They weren't happy and neither was I. -🙁

My worst moment was at one of my baseball practices. I was supposed to be the best defender on the team. I was day dreaming and the ball hit me right in the forehead. lol. I was out for a couple minutes. It was crazy lol.

We played rugby in gym class, you don't know how many people made this mistake. I think I was the only person in there who had heard of rugby before that, and they were all holding the ball like an (American) football -lol- . Needless to say they had a hard time passing it.

Probably when I was in goal (soccer/football)I jumped for the ball, I missed it hit off the pole, and hit me in the head lol.

Yup ~rolleyes~ , actually I'm fairly sure they were laughing at the situation rather than my mistake. We won the game anyway so all was forgiven ~redface~
