There was a time when I literally had a list of all the things I regularly do when I get on the computer. I am now finding myself all over the place simply because honestly I haven't made my online life a priority. With balancing work, school, and home life I am now finding myself making time for my online hobbies. It just got me thinking that it's important now more than ever to have a set of activities planned or else I could use up A LOT of my free time on one thing which wouldn't be good if I'm trying to squeeze in multiple things in one sitting.
Anyway, back to my question...what is your online routine? Do you have one? What do you usually do when you first get on your computer, before you get off, and whatever else in between?
No routine for me. I've ditched every online obligation and I just bounce around with no rhyme or reason to what I'm looking at any particular time. I feel when you tie yourself down with obligations, you don't really enjoy anything else because there's always that inclination in the back of your mind to go back & check on your obligations to make sure everything is okay.
I always deal with most of what I need to do after I'm awake then if I have free time I tend to play games or watch an online video.
It does tend to get busy when you get up and have ti check emails and websites. Today I sold an item on ebay and had to get the print of sheet and I was doing that as I'm checking all websites that I'm active on, like reading new posts and seeing what is going on.
It difficult to stick to a routine for me because my work hours fluctuate greatly. However, as soon as I come home from work, I get on to FP and browse topics and posts, make a few of them and generally look around. Then I have an online job that I do, takes around 30 minutes of my time a day. I then write articles and do posting in other forums which I am part of and there ends my online routine.
