I wanted to see what kind of hard drive people were using these days.

I'm a gamer, so I had my computer built a couple of years ago and cost me a whopping 3K. It's still good by today's standards. I recently added a new hard drive. A local computer store had a 2TB SSD drive on sale for 580 and I bought it.

So now my PC has 1 300GB SSD for my OS, 1TB Mechanical Storage Drive, and 1 2TB Storage Drive.

I currently just have 1TB HDD on my desktop, but looking to add on with a another (or two) 1-2TB HDDs shortly here. I was thinking about SSDs but there isn't a real point in me having one since I don't really do any hardcore gaming and the other hard drives will just serve as a type of archiving storage medium.

On my desktop, I have a 120 GB SSD for my operating system and certain games. I have two HDDs as well. One HDD (1.5 TB) is for my data and programs/games that don't need to be on my SSD. The other HDD (1 TB) is for an installation of Windows XP. I dual-boot Windows 10 and Windows XP.

I'm happy to share 🙂

My built Desktop has 128GB SSD from Kingston for my OS (windows 7) and 2x 1 TB Samsung Hdd for storage.

My Laptop (gaming PC) has 256GB SSD and 1.5 TB Hdd.

452gb HDD on one laptop, my other one has slightly less. Seems like plenty of data, I don't really download too much. 😛

My main computer, my iMac, has a 500GB HDD and I have two 1TB external drives attached. Works great for me, the only thing I'll probably be adding is more RAM.

Well I've an 500GB External HDD and 160 GB Inbuilt HDD Space and I'm thing to change my internal Disk to SSD. SSD is faster but costly and HDD is cheap and magnetic, but good for storage.

I use two 1 TB WD HDD's for my gaming and entertainment rig. I keep all my Gaming on one Drive and my Work on the other.

500GB HDD with still about 50% space remaining, more than enough for my current uses.

I have a 120GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD and a 1TB Seagate 7200RPM HDD. The SSD makes my OS lightning fast and my HDD is enough to hold all my games.
