What kind of server is needed for a hosting company? Yeah, So I want to start up a hosting company so I will need some of this valuable information.

It all depends on what kind of hosting your going to offer, the packages your going to offer and such. It is best to start with a reseller to get familiar with what you will need and see what the demands are before jumping into a full server.

I would go on cloud if I was starting out. Rather trouble free and very economic. This is where the industry is going, and it seems to be working for a number of great companies..
