What major changes to a site affect SEO?

One of those is, when your website becomes slow, even search engine like google checks you website loading speed, and keeps it a factor in ranking of your web page.

Here are some rules that may help you. These are generalized and there are always exceptions to rules in life, but overall I try to stick to these principles:

Only use one H1 per page.
Properly nest your H2 and H3 content.
Use category or main pages to index your own articles, services, products, etc.
Use "detail pages" that have proper URL slugs for individual pages inside /blog/, /services/, /products/, etc such as /tutorials/seo-longtail-keywords.html
Every image must have an alt tag, and should use lazyloading to help with speed & performance.
Your pages should have valid schema
Use meta content for your title and description mostly. Keywords can be helpful but is not as important as actual site content.
Don't overuse keywords in your content.
Write unique content that a real human will actually want to keep reading. This part is very, very important.
Research your competitors, target audience, and the most current news for your industry niches.

Hi there. Here are some of my thoughts. 1. Website structure and URLs: If you make big changes to your website's structure or URLs, it can affect your SEO rankings. Make sure to set up proper redirects and ensure important pages are easily accessible. 2. Content changes: Any updates to your keywords, meta tags, or overall content strategy can impact SEO. Conduct keyword research, optimize your content, and maintain high-quality content creation. z 3. Mobile-friendliness: Search engines prioritize mobile-friendly websites because more people are using mobile devices. Make sure your site is optimized for mobile to improve SEO rankings. 4. Regular SEO audits: Use SEO auditing tools to identify issues like broken links, slow page speed, or duplicate content. Regularly audit your site via seo auditing software to stay on top of any SEO-related issues and make necessary improvements.

Bring your information architecture up to date.
Take extreme caution while mapping redirect URLs.
After the redesign is finished, you should test your website, optimize the content you will be keeping, improve page speed, and update your XML sitemap.
