There are several important metrics that are commonly monitored daily to track website performance. What are some things that you check?

To be honest, none really. I don’t normally check website metrics every day, other than occasionally checking the site speed or if I notice the site performance has gone down. 😄

For forums, I'm mainly checking for new topics and replies.

I try to focus on the feedback and let the forum organically grow in the background.

I've even removed the stats from the forum to rid the vanity metric distraction from the forum.

I mainly check for new posts and threads on my forums. That way I can respond to them in a timely fashion, to keep the community popping. I do check to see how many new members have joined, but it's not too often I do this anymore.

Some of them not all of them in general days

I like to seen number of daily posts and traffic, especially from other sources not just internal traffic.

I check for daily posts/threads and new members. Using Cloudflare Analytics, I check unique visitors and the click-through rate.

For my blog, I have to check to see if someone has tried to contact me via my blog. I have to remind myself to check that regularly.

Also, I check the statistics to see how many visits I've gotten for the week. I check that just for my own curiosity.

I only check my forum’s activity daily, and I usually check traffic about once a week or so.

Do you all think that traffic is less now than, let's say, 10 years ago?

For my forums, I make sure to check number of posts and topics, new registrations, and traffic
