What motivates you when your community is in a lull?

What helps me is to just recognize there will be times forums & especially your own, will be slow. Summertime is notorious for activity lessening. What I do is continue to post on my forum & on others. Keeping with Post Exchanges & sometimes joining a new forum to help them out.
