What movie have you seen recently?

Recently I've watched 'Alien' again, 'The Wicker Man' (original) again, 'A Clockwork Orange' again and for the first time 'The Martian'.

The first three I've probably seen at least ten times already and enjoyed every one of them again immensely. 'The Martian' was a surprise. Although it plodded a little, that added to the feeling of isolation of the main character. It turned out to be one of the few more modern films that was actually worth making. Worth a look if you like Sci-fi and you've got a bit of time to kill.

Just finished watching White House Down again.

Top Gun

A classic I hadn't seen until today. But I'm glad I finally did... and now I want to see Maverick too!

My mom and I went and saw Argylle today! I won't say too much since it just came out on the 2nd, but a lot of the reviews said it wasn't the greatest, but I disagreed. I actually liked it, and so did my mom! Wouldn't have really known about it if I hadn't seen a promotional email from one of the chain movie theaters, and when I looked it up, it sounded interesting. I think it lived up to my expectations. I'd watch it again for sure, and I'm glad we made the time to go see it.

Currently rewatching Mr. and Mrs. Smith on Hulu. Saw it in theaters many years ago.

I just watched 'Left Behind' staring Nicolas Cage. If you want to see the worst movie made in the history of film making I'd recommend it without hesitation. It doesn't have one redeeming feature.

Oppenheimer. Long but a wonderful telling movie. ☺️
