What PRIZE/s would you want?

I feel like holding a new contest for http://adminpeak.com whilst I have some extra cash so what kind of prizes would really motivate you to go into a competition? (Haven't decided what the actual competition will be.)

I like the idea of cash prizes but I also feel obliged to try and somehow relate the prize to my niche.

Hard decision but regardless cash is always popular.

I would pick a contest prize that would appeal to your target audience? It matters little what anyone here would want as it is those who go to your board that truly matter. Money is a prize that would work anywhere but do remember that a portion of the prize you hand out will get lost in PayPal fees so I would mindful to point out that the prize you win won't be what you get because of that unless you planned on covering the fees as well so they earn what they win.

Paid software such as IPB,VB, Xenforo would probably get a lot of attention as well.

You could also use money that's split three ways so there is three winners which might make it more attractive to get involved in when people know there is more then one winner.

Good points. I like the idea of a software license as it's very for my target audience and regardless I am planning 2 runner up prizes which will be quite smaller but will pack in as much as possible.

That's actually a really good point you make there but I think I definitely want to do that.

Although you have given me the idea to start planning ahead something huge for a 1 year contest. 🙂
