What Security System Do you use? ( anti-virus)

I personally prefer to use Webroot - not really because I think it's the best anti-virus software or anything. I've just gotten used to the program over the years for my Windows computers and there usually a sale that I can take advantage of from Best Buy or Frys Electronics. There is no bloatware to worry about and it's not annoying as it does not pop up all the time giving me notifications.

What do you guys even do that you need an Anti-Virus?
I have a device that is connected to the internet.
I don't believe you know how malware is distributed then. =p
Drive-by downloads, USB devices, comprimised networks, user error, etc... I'm a security enthusiast.
None of which are a concern for most sensible users. Don't visit sites you don't trust or use foreign USB devices, and home networks really don't tend to get compromised if they're secured and it's users use sense like described above. Work networks are another story, but you don't tend to use those with your personal devices anyway.

I use AVG for anti-virus and internet security.
For malware I used Malwarebytes.

You can get them for free. You can update the virus and malware definition. But if you want higher security and use all their services, you have to get the paid ones.

But I been using them (free) for quite sometime and I never even ones format my computer because of virus or malware.

Avast Internet Security (settings heavily tweaked), User Account Control on Always Notify (maximum), Windows SmartScreen and a Standard User Account (UAC requires a password).
