What Services do you rely on the most?

Okay, as a newbie administrator, I still rely on package requests and bumping up my topics at different ad sites, and that's good and all, but one thing I should be relying on more than anything is post exchanges. Usually I like to try to start with 5/5 or 10/10 and then if I find I'm satisfied with how a member posts, I will reply back with something like, "ready to do a few more?" and then wait for them to respond. Another one I really need to learn to rely on is the Promotion Tips and Tricks that a lot of forums offer. I've noticed that a lot of promotion forums offer what could be some really helpful tips, and I know I need to learn to take advantage of that as well. Of course, I'll still rely on packages as well, especially the "Large" package when the time comes to request, but the biggest one I'm looking forward to concentrating on are post exchanges. I also like those because you never know what sites you will stumble upon that you've never heard of before. Anyway, these are services at most promotion forums I take advantage of the most:

Advertising the Forum: I have especially gotten into the habit of bumping up my topic whenever the time permits.

Posting Packages: I especially take advantage of the "Large Package" that most forums offer, since they usually bring in the most posts.

Post Exchanges: I really need to take advantage of these more, because my forum in particular is getting closer to the 1000 post mark, and I know that at this point packages will no longer be necessary, unless I take advantage of packages only in emergency or something.

I only rely on the packages and a quick review. You can tell your mates about the forum and tell them to tell their mates and it goes on and on. This acts the same as having your link added somewhere on the FP site but this is a quicker way of doing it. Either way, you will get a bit of activity. 😀 I haven't requested a few services from FP as I don't think they do anything.

Actually, some services really don't do anything. I've tried doing banner rotation on one advertising forum once, didn't do any good, and there was another one I tried that didn't really work out well either.

Mostly I rely on packages and post exchanges now.

Exactly the reason why I go for post exchange. You get the exact same amount, and sometimes more! Espescially if you go for an active for an active exchange or something like that.

It's always good to go for the ones that give them FP cash for posting. That way you can focus more on your forum or another forum and once they're finished then you can just pay them. I don't think much of the exchanges where you exchange posts as they take a little long. Especially when the forum you are going to post at has very few posts.

I agree, I only request for package just because I don't have any idea what to do with the FP Cash sitting on my post info.. :lol:
Besides I do my own design, so I don't really rely on forum cash exchange that much. I don't like post exchange as I have stopped doing it now because well first you get ripped off or that person that deals with you don't bump the topic.. I can't be arsed looking for them really..

I never know how to do the forum cash for post exchanges. I'm always going at too high of amount, and then I get yelled at for it, or something along those lines. I prefer posts for posts myself, because at least that way you're both giving each other the activity you need.

Graphics is it. And I don't rely on it. If I can't get a good one done, I'll go to my graphics guy who does a TON of graphics for sites similar to mine (ex: http://kornspace.com ).
