What should my forum be based on ?

Hey guys i have my own domain and a paid host but now i am thinking of making a forum but the problem is what should my forum be based on ? Advertising or something else ? Something which can attract people to my forum. And if it would be a advertising forum what all mods do i require ? :shrug:

You should really make a forum out of passion, about something you're very interested in. There's no point in making a forum just for the sake of making one, because sooner or later you'll lose interest.

In response to your other questions, try to think of something unique. Seems like an old Cliche but realistically there's no way a new promotion forum is going to last these days.

It doesn't matter what others want.. It matters what you want. 😉 Try and make a forum that interests others tho'. 😀

Well if you don't know ..... why not start with a General Interest/General Chat Forum and start from there and see what happens that may take you down a road to specialise in !

General Chat forums can have anything... Promotion section, media section etc etc 😀

Hmm i think you all are right anyways i think that a general forum would be better instead of only promotion forum !

Well i agree that you should make a board on things you'd be interested in and on something you've knowledge on. Then you will keep interest in the board and find it easier to post and manage the forum.
