Are tablets still popular? Which one do you own or want to buy?

I just got Amazon fire tablet 😉 two of them in fact 🙂 last year model and then another from five years back 😉

doesn't cost that much

I got a Samsung Galaxy A7 tablet thinking that I would use it. I don't. 😛

It worked well the few times that I actually did use it, though.

I've got an iPad that I thought I needed. I bought it, used it once or twice. Haven't used it since then. My girlfriend plays games on it. 😛

I used to use a tablet, but it's basically just a giant phone, so now I just use my Galaxy Ultra (Note). It's big enough to turn to landscape and the digital pen is great.

My laptop is the Surface Studio. It transforms into a laptop, into a tablet, and has a dock to make it a desktop. It's my favorite PC I've had to date.

I have an ancient iPad that no longer supports a lot of apps I used to use. I only use it to read the news or watch the occasional film if I can't sleep. I'm in the process of deciding whether to replace it or just not bother. I like Apple products but I feel they are pushing price boundaries a little to far in recent times.

Had an iPad pro for around 3 years now, use it daily.

I used to have an ipad as well, but I was using it for just gaming as well and nothing more for the other basics that I need to do. It was fun turning it into a gaming device till the day it fell into a bucket of water and refused the switch on again.

I don't own a tablet at the moment, but if I do ever get one, I'd go for an iPad as it's a big screen, I prefer Apple products and it will be something I can play mobile/tablet games on.

I have a couple Pixel tablets that I got back when I was in college, but I no longer use them now and just let my mom have them for her to use instead of just getting rid of them. They still work well, but because I do most stuff on my desktop, I didn't feel like I needed them anymore.

And then I decided that I wanted a tablet again because it was an inconvenience to have to go up and down stairs or shout through the house if we wanted to order food and both of us needed to look at the menu, and I figured it'd be nice if I wanted to do stuff in bed a different room or just wanted to have something to use for quick stuff like guides for games I was playing away from the computer, so I bought a Surface Pro 9. Very convenient and a nice investment, honestly.

Is that a very lazy way though 😛

I would just go downstairs and deal with what I have to do or in my case go out to the store and order from the counter 😛

Never used a tablet - desktop for at home and phone for when I'm out and about.
I have a hard enough time justifying a laptops existence, tablets make no sense to me tbh.

If either of us knew what we wanted and also felt like going out to pick up the food, that would probably work lol. Sometimes the convenience of delivery is very nice when no one wants to leave the house to pick up food or cook what's at home. Though it is cheaper to do both of those things lol.

well, I end up doing home cooked lol

I still have a tablet that was bought for me by my other half back in 2017 I believe it was. It's an Android and it's 10" but also very old now and doesn't tend to run a lot of what I would need it to.

It also has a crack on the screen, it doesn't affect the use but it can be a pain.

I would like to upgrade at some point and have been looking at the Amazon Fire tablets 🙂
