If it were mine? I'd probably do a cozy kinda vibe with warm tones to go along with the theme of the blog. Something that just screams "reading books by a fireplace in the winter with a warm blanket and a mug of hot chocolate" because that's the first thing that pops into my mind when I look at the blog (especially with that Gustave Flaubert quote at the top). I'd probably use darker warm tones just because I prefer more of the darker tones on sites in general, while still trying to get that cozy vibe.

The name alone just makes me think of sitting by a fireplace and talking, but since we're going for more of a "sitting by a fireplace and reading books" vibe, it still works. Thank you everyone for the suggestions. I've been looking through the themes available from Wordpress. After looking, there's a couple that I like but they cost $$$. If I monetize my forum, I may go that route but I'm currently sticking to free themes at the moment.
