I had A My Buddy doll my parents bought for me one Christmas, about the same time as the first Child's play came out (I couldn't have been 7 or 8 tops).

They then delighted in putting it on top of my god damned toy box, sat facing my bed, after I moved it repeatedly to the closet, basement, etc.

I would go to bed after getting rid of the thing before it could kill me only to wake up and have the little fucker grinning at me from across the room.

So what happened to you as a kid that you have a sneaking suspicion ruined you as a person in one way or another? Share forums, get it off your chest.

That doll looks evil. ~lol~

I was traumatized by getting a F in GCSE Geography ~lol~ I tried so hard.

Umm, one was a film called 'IT' which I watched when I was about 9. That f'ed me up for a while...I still hate mirrors now. 2nd was a film called 'Face Off' which I saw when I was 11 or 12. For about 7 years after that, I couldn't watch anything really gory because it would take me back lol I'm still never gonna watch that film. A dude without a face...not good.

I was Traumatized watching the Channel 4 series 'Dead Set'. -🙁

I never watched that Dead Set.

Anyway, a couple of horror films used to freak me out, I know if I had got that childs play doll then I would have been traumatized. ~lol~

These two dreams I had; One of a spider the size of me, and when I was in a maze and this elephant was trying to catch and eat me.

Before you ask, I was not smokin' anything ~lol~

I had a dream once, that my parents turned into spiders. I was like 6 it really scared me. I Also had a weired dream, i got attacked by ghosts because i didn't finish a drawing. Probably was my dads cigarette smoke, messed me up.

Saw the original Halloween when I was about 6, freaked me out pretty good. Used to run through the house at night scared some masked murderer might jump out at me -razz- but now Halloween is my favorite film ~lol~ Seeing parts of The Exorcist also did a number on me around that age.

Hmmm... CSI always scared me, but now I love it..

And I had this one dream.. I was laying on my bed (top-bunk bunk bed) and this creapy guy entered my room. He came at me with a knife and I yelled for my parents, they didn't come. Then I woke up.. ~redface~

Now you see that staff are real people.. In a way..

when i was little (and home alone with my siblings) my brother told me that if the sky turns pink (which it was at the time) it means there will be a tornado.
to this day i have a tornado phobia.
