i was 13, a dishwasher in a bowling alley that had seperate bars and restaurants and banquet halls. i worked there till i was 18, i was then a stockboy for all the bars. made sure there was always beer, alcohol, soda hooked up to the soda guns, changing the beer barrels
then i worked at the front desk answering the phone, giving out lanes and shoes for people who wanted to bowl, taking care of the leagues
and i worked in the pits, behing the bowling machines. taking care of any problems during leagues or open bowling. pins stuck, if somebodys ball got stuck. anything that went wrong, resetting pins. i switched between the desk and the pits
I was a paper boy when I was like 15... Although it was just an hour a day, I had to do it at 5am, 7 days a week with no days off ever. If I was sick or unable to do my route, I had to find my own substitute to deliver the papers... I only did that for a couple months.
I got another job at a fast food place soon after & was fired for being a crappy worker a couple months later.

I worked at Harry Cow the local bakery from 14 till I was 16 during the holidays and on Sat during school term and at night I babysit 3 night a weeks
Between the two jobs I made £60 during the holidays and £20 during school term
I worked at the local YMCA at the front desk. I checked members into the gym, signed people up for classes, answered phones, and some other things. I eventually ended up working not only at the front desk, but also as a lifeguard, child watch personnel and as an office assistant.
I had taken up a part time job as Faculty teaching computer basis at a Computer Institute..i continued it till i had my own institute 🙂 then shut it down and started my own software development company.
My first job was a cashier at a grocery store. :V Now i'm working at Walmart in the dairy department. :\ I'm wanting to go back to school to become a computer programmer one day though.
