If you are admin of any forum /blog and you have not used postloop, then it's either you have already gotten organic traffic or you are just ignorant!

The banner for postloop has been trending in this forum for a while now. Since this is a forum for admins, you should have taken a look at it! Anyway it's not too late, click here to join postloop and see your forum/blog grow with quality posts. You will not need to make pseudo accounts. The good thing about it is, you will at the same time earn some cash while at it.

Anyway, i'm not here to advertise postloop. My question is, to those who have used it, what is the future of postloop?

The social media has killed forums and blogs and the trend seems to be increasing. What do you think will happen to postloop and other post exchange services in the next few years?

I recently Joined postloop and my honest opinion of it "I love it" . I think it is a brilliant way to get your forums and blogs out there. It also allows real people to join your forum and fill it with rich quality content not like spammers do . Arrggh spammers I don't normally hate people lol as am a nice kind guy but I do hate spammers .

Been going for years, other then it was closed for months then it came back with new owners. I joined back in 2014 then lost the account and join again this year.

they are still building and I can not add my site yet

Guess I'll be that guy.

The quality of the posters available on Postloop has fallen through the floor in the last year in my opinion. So much so, I'd say I get about 40% return on my spend these days. I find that most folks do not follow the rules set in the long description and I end up deleting a ton of posts.

I also posted a response to users complaining about my rules and the Postloop administrator had the stones to say I was giving ratings based on disobedience instead of merit. Well, guess what, if someone completely ignores the rules I've set for, they lack integrity and morals since they're basically trying to steal my money so that certainly speaks to the lack of merit.

All in all, once my spend is gone, I'll never deposit with them again.

I am not surprised as wherever money is to be made will always attract those types that want a quick payday at some other person's expense. This might explain why the previous owner was so tough on standards because he knew he had to continuously moderate the site to weed out those types as they will eventually ruin the site if they aren't dealt with as they come. Perhaps the new owners need to step up their game when it comes to weeding out these types before they ruin their reputation and drive away the people who genuinely want to play by the rules?

I personally don't care for the concept of paying for posts as I rather people post because they want to and not to make a buck or gain something of value out of doing so but that's just me I suppose.

I joined Postloop around 2 months after they opened to the public and I had added m site to their system also. From what I can see, the quality is increasing rather than going down. For forum owners, its an amazing thing but stricter curbs on quality means less writer satisfaction. Despite these, I am sure that its going to go a long way!

That is what I recommended since they removed a rating for a user that pretty much violated every restriction I had in place in my long description. If they're going to walk back reviews, that shows a total lack of integrity to the system because the poster was complaining that my rating was preventing them from joining other sites.

Yeah, that's kinda the point... my rating is protecting fellow forum owners from your bad work.

Did they even give you a reason why they pulled your review? I would think pulling a review down is a serious matter and not one that should be taken lightly. The point of the reviews is to paint an accurate picture of the member in question in regards to how well or not they post. As long as the review isn't abusive or dishonest then I don't see why they would have a reason to yank it down.

I asked via email and got no response. Then the admin responded to a forum post of people complaining about my restrictions and said they were trying to protect against ratings for disobedience instead of quality of content.

A lot of Postloop members, not living in the United States/North America are being hit really hard and not able to subscribe to any due to subscribing on that site and then being revoked with a 1 rating. The excuse is 'they didn't read the long description' and that doesn't fly with me as it indicates the 1 rating was given for 'disobedience' rather than for 'quality of content'.

That was the response word-for-word. Unfortunately, this doesn't fly with me because it's my site, my rules and my money funding your venture. If I explicitly state I do not want members from outside of North America, you should read that and refrain from registering if you're in Russia, India or elsewhere. But anyhow, as I said, I will not deposit any more funds into their platform and I'd advise other forum owners to critically evaluate every member and post they get from the platform.

Ignoring an e-mail especially in regards to what you could call a moderation issue is a big no no.

I think their problem is they are catering too much to the poster and not enough to the board owner. I'd say an user who willfully ignores guidelines set into place by a post loop user shows contempt not only to that post loop member and their community but to Postloop as well. If they aren't willing to follow your guidelines then what makes them think they will listen to Postloop's guidelines? Perhaps those users should show respect and obey the guidelines set up by post loop members in relation to posting on their site and they wouldn't get those 1 star reviews. It looks to me like those people are complaining because they don't like the penalties they are enduring for being willfully disrespectful to you and your site. Why that is your problem is beyond me.

Another thing is your guidelines are in relation to post quality. The only person whose standard on post quality matters in relation to your site is the person who submitted it AKA you. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about their posts because if you aren't satisfied then why should you have to pay for what you don't want?

I honestly don't blame you for not wanting to spend more money there because they really aren't taking care of you as a post loop board owner member and I feel you likely aren't the first nor will you be the last to have this issue.
