if you saw a stand selling fruits, vegetables, jams and baked goods and no one was there to watch over it or take the money? There is a usually a built in money box with a slot to put your money in and sometimes a log book for you to enter your purchase.

This is common where I live because there are a lot of Amish. I just stopped at a stand where an Amish lady is set up out in the country and bought four small Whoopie Pies for $2.00. She's usually there at her stand but it's really hot today so maybe she couldn't stand to be in there or maybe she had to go use the outhouse? I noticed she left her other money out though which made me feel sorry for her if anyone were to steal it! I guess in the country where I live now people are more honest?

Where I used to live there wouldn't even be a stand left for her to return to!

What about where you live?

I wish it was like that here where you could trust one another in that respect.

No there wouldn't be anything left, no money nor any food unfortunately.

I get the bone man and his old house and cart going alone once a month.. PIcking up unwanted tiems from people lol

I live on an island with farms everywhere. Lots of them selling milk, eggs, cheese etc at stands such as these. I think for the most part people are honest. You do get the odd teenager who think it’s “cool” to steal certain items.

Sometimes I've seen that when we would travel a bit away from home. From what I saw, no one seemed to bother it.

Well, on my street, we don't see anybody with Stands that sell things like pies, fruit etc. So...It's hard to know what would happen but going by the way people act and speak in my Country, the money would probably be taken...
