What would make you burn out and not want to manage your community anymore?

What sort of things do you have in place to help combat burning out?

Have you ever burnt out quit?

I see people burning up so fast that they even end their site. Or they get bored or funds are over. Just take a break and put in a week or more off and then come back after your break.

I can get burnup when working on something for a while and whatever you are working on is not working how you would like it to be worked.

It may sound overwhelming but I have quite a few website projects that I am working on to keep me from burning out. I can spend some time here and then some time there and rotate everything enough where I am not burning out.

It's a good question, it's yet to happen to me and I'm not sure what it would take to cause me to burn out online or off for that matter.

There aren't enough hours in the day to get everything I want to do, done and I absolutely cannot sit down and do nothing. Although that sounds like I'm driving myself towards a burn out, the more I get done the calmer I feel.

Perhaps I'm just weird!

working on different things while taking a break on another sounds good. Can do that with one single site.

A decline in activity or members would probably cause burnout if you struggled to get numbers up.

I very much enjoy the niche` on my blog. I think this is the reason why I haven't experienced burnout on my blog yet. Have you ever heard the saying, "If you do something you love, you'll never work a day in your life"? I think that is true with my blog. It doesn't feel like work to me because I like reading so much.

So far I have shut down three forums. I shut down my forums due to the lack of forum activities.
