What would you do if the site just disappeared tomorrow?

I personally would cry. I use this site daily. I am always on FP.

I would make another promotion forum and gain the same members 😀.

I would read a book, watch a movie and play some sport. I would want to know what happened.

Probably find another promotion site to promote my own forum at. Shouldn't be too hard there are loads of them out there these days. Although I probably would be a bit upset at first as I currently get most of, if not all my traffic, from FP.

Good luck with that. 😛

I would be active on other forums, it wouldn't be too different.

It would hurt me, but I wouldn't mind so much.

-- 26 Mar 2011, 13:39 --

It would hurt me, but I wouldn't mind so much.

Be sad for a bit then move on to another forum, I can reference to something like that, another awesome forum that closed.

I suppose I'd be going on one less forum than I normally do... No biggie.

I would invest $3000 in purcahsing and bringing it back up again.

I would be upset because i have 12KFP$ and that would be all gone.

There is so much better things you could be doing with that amount of money.
Why not donate it to the victims in japan? :great:

Assuming that it never existed? I probably wouldn't care since it never existed. I'd probably be doing something else.

I would die. Lol. Not really. I wouldn't really care much, I don't post here as much as I do other sites so it would be no biggie for me.

Yeah, but what if the owner (Fergal) wasn't interested in selling? Then what would you do?

I would just move on, really. If the owner and staff were to wish to share what happened to the place, that's their business. If it was something personal that went on that nobody wishes to really talk about, then it's none of our business. As long as they sent out an email or whatever informing us of the pending closure if this were to ever actually happen, that's really all that matters. People close their sites for different reasons, and nine times out of ten, those reasons really aren't any of the members' business. If they just said that they closed this site for personal reasons, then that would be the reason we'd have to accept. It wouldn't do any good to pester it out of them as to why they actually closed the forum.
