If I couldn't have the domain I wanted under a .com, I'd look for another domain name instead of settling for a different TLD

.co.cc - Acts like a domain, but is free. Only lasts a year, though.
.co.nr - URL shortener, not a domain. It can last forever.

Frankly, I'd go .co.nr just because you can use it for as long as you like.

You update the co.cc link for $3 🙂

The question was "Would you rather have a domain name with .co.cc or .co.nr?" so answers like "neither" or "get a TLD" aren't valid.

To answer the question, I would say .co.cc

There should be another option in a poll. Those are two options I would never use.

Personally speaking I see nothing wrong with co.cc, however co.nr bugs me. If it's out of the two, co.cc gets my vote.

Keep in mind that there are ways of getting TLD names for free, one such method can be done by reading this guide.

Yeah these are bad I guess but this is only if you could have these.

I have an issue with visiting co.nr domains. If they cloak the real url, i can never stay logged in. I prefer co.cc domains but really i would recommend getting a proper domain as it makes your forum look more serious and more appealing to potential members.

That's exactly what I was thinking

Neither, not a chance I would use them.

Same here. I would rather see a real domain. Besides aren't .co.cc and .co.nr domains only maskers?

Ill go with .co.nr just because the other one has too many c's no other specail reason lol

I'd say wait until you can get your own TLD. Do you what you need to do, to get the money together for one. You could even do some paid forum posting for other people and buy a domain when you've saved up enough cash from that.
