I don’t sing, not in public anyways & certainly not good 🙂 I couldn’t imagine myself singing at Karaoke but I do admit it’d be fun to try, at least once in my life. Have any of you sang Karaoke? What did you think about it? If I had to pick a song, I’d pick "It’s my life" by Bon Jovi. It has a good beat & I already know most of the lyrics.

No actually. They balance it out. On Karaoke nights there are three kinds of people.
  1. People who sing well, These are your typical singers. They have an amazing voice. They are quite humble about it but when they have the mic in their hands they are unstoppable.
  2. People, who think they sing well, You know that friend who always brags about how they can sing Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, and the likes, but can’t? Yeah, you know who I’m talking about.
  3. And lastly, those who don’t want to sing at all, This type is the kind that just wants to listen to other people singing. Just let them be and don’t force them

I'd probably sing Part of Your World for fun and if it was a competition I'd have to come up with something more difficult to show off my range. I sing all the time but I don't do karaoke.

When I was in art school, my friend invited me to his condo on Lake Michigan so that we could play with his new karaoke machine (those were new at the time!!) and we had so much fun. He is a singer too and his dad walked in and actually complimented my voice which surprised my friend because his dad never complimented many people.

I cannot sing to save my life; so I certainly won’t be doing karaoke anytime soon.

If I had to, I’d go with a song that I know every word to, like How to Save a Life by The Fray.
