I'm working toward getting more of the house maintenance done before friends come to visit this summer. They haven't seen the house yet, so as I look around, I keep finding little things to tackle to make it look better.
I'm trying to push my forum to 10k posts we are currently at 9330 posts on my poker forum. I was hoping to hit that mark by the end of April, but it seems a lot of forums had a slow month for new posts.
I'm currently trying my best to get to 400 subscribers on Youtube. I have 377 so far, I have a few videos I need to get around to editing and uploading. I'm also working on some other ones too.
I'm still working on my writing even after I've become a published author. I'm working to see if I can do that and make more money from that to the point that it will help me pay the bills.
I'm working toward building a scalable digital service business that allows me to work flexibly while generating consistent revenue. I'm also focused on refining my systems to support long-term growth.
I am seriously pushing towards buying a new oven for my business. It is one of the goals that I have set out and have already started saving towards. Whether it comes to pass or not is going to be a different ballgame, but I am always optimistic when I set targets as I aim to achieve them.
Forum wise I need to determine which products to use going forward which is proving to be a bit of a nightmare because most of the forums I'm involved with have very different requirements.
Xenforo is out because development has stagnated and it's lacking way too much of the functionality demanded by modern audiences. Invision Community would be a good choice for at least one forum but for the fact they now completely focused on the Cloud. I also have issues with their management philosophies. vBulletin is... well... just dead to me and the rest of the internet.
Discourse proved to be a superb option for one of the communities I help maintain but I can't make it work on a forum that holds thousands of hi-res images. I'm currently looking at WoltLab which ticks more boxes than the rest especially if you can get passed the language barrier.
Away from the time spent running forums I'm currently building a decent client base for my new recording studio.
