What's a lesson you've learned from a mistake?

Take the time to work on a console, and try not to force the motherboard back in it's shell. I have a Model 2 genesis I took apart over a decade ago to clean and forced it back in the shell so now it's bent and can't fit back in the shell. It's been sitting around with no screws in it since...

One lesson I’ve learned from a mistake is the importance of clear communication. I once assumed someone understood my expectations, and it led to confusion and missed deadlines. Since then, I’ve learned to be more direct and thorough to avoid misunderstandings.

I'm trying to become more self reliant in my personal life.

Don't ask someone on a date who you work with, especially someone a lot younger than you are.

This is true. One might end up losing the respect that the said person have got for them. I am always being careful in matters such as that.

Learn to accept that things don't need to be perfect, and when it comes to your own ventures, remember that just because you believe it is the best route, it does not mean it is the best route. and you could be your own worst enemy.

Also, don't walk off roofs.

There are some lessons I've learned from other people's mistakes and there are some lessons I've learned from my own mistakes.

I've learned that not everyone you work with is your friend (my own mistake).

I've learned that it doesn't pay to do drugs (someone else's mistake).

I learn from my failures by investigating the causes and the way I can solve it. That way, I will never repeat such a mistake ever again.

I mostly learn from other people's mistakes in my life because I'm pretty good at watching what happens to friends and family when they mess up then I try not to do the same dumb stuff.
