Just wanted to see what all of you guys think since the majority of people here are High School students... this year I am taking Chem honors, and it doesn't seem so hard, I had a 93 first quarter and a 96 second quarter.. but I hear so many people saying Physics is a lot harder.. I'm genuinely good at Math though and never got under a 90 in Math through the years... but next year I can do either Physics or AP Environmental Science ( I guess it's like Earth Science? ) and I want to know some opinions on Physics..

Thanks

The physics Regents exam is a joke compared to the Physics AP, take physics. APES is mostly Earth Science, but if you're going into a science field, take physics.

Physics is definitely harder than Chemistry. But if you're generally good at math, than it will help a lot.

Physics, because you really have nothing to work with. It is hard to 'imagine' there is no real material things you can see in physics.

I find the opposite, chemistry is mostly abstract (nuclear models and such). Physics you can actually see velocity and such.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who thinks physics is harder than chemistry. I didn't think that the first year of physics was much easier than AP Chemistry.

It goes Physics then Chemistry then Biology. (with its sub courses spread out in between)

It seems I am the second one for whom Physics is easier than Chemistry .

Physics is a lot more...er, complicated than Chemistry. Once you've got the periodic table, it's easy. There's so much more to Physics, though.

Having not done either, I'm going to go out on a limb and say Chemistry. Physics seems to be more 'Maths'-like than Chemistry, which seems very 'Science'-like. I was always better at Maths than I was at Science.

It is all relative. AP Bio is much harder than normal Chem.
Also, all of this goes out the window in college, as Organic is one of, if not the hardest general science class that you can take.

This is tough. I haven't taken Physics yet, I'm in Chem now. Chem seems tough so far, but I heard Physics is a lot worse.

Depends which country you are from 😉
