When you're looking to think up a possible domain name to register, what do you look for? What do you think is in a name? Do you look for keywords? Maybe the shorter the better approach? What do you take into consideration when coming up with a name?

For me, I like to think up something that's unique, no other site with the similar name, short and simple. It's easier to remember short names or catchy ones, which is good for world of mouth promotion. Besides, I feel they look better

unique definitely and also has to be the name that's also in the subject of what the site is all about. Also if it's available of course lol

I like .com's so being creative is a must.
I agree. Depending on the brand I want, .com is a must have to be available.

I always try to keep it 11 characters or less as well. I'm actually normally very picky on my names xD

In today's world you can have anything that you want! .net .com .org .is .co .game .hello .ping .jamesmay

.com is obviously the better one if you can get it.

I dunno, I mean, generic terms are best if you can get your hands on one. That's not always possible nowadays though, at least not without forking out a fortune.
