Recently, someone in the Metro had killed a deer that was a public icon in the community, and had been sentenced to some jail time, and lost his hunting license for 5 years, because of it.

My local news is just awful, and has been for some time now, which is why I'm toying with the idea of putting my head in the sand and reading good news stories exclusively. I mean, this stuff is really depressing!
