What's out for forums in 2022?

We're getting a few manually registered "spam" members recently which is quite annoying.

What anti-spam containment features are you using?

Before, custom questions always worked really good on forums I run but here lately, they haven't.

I recently enabled reCAPTCHA "Are you a Human" feature instead and that has worked better than my custom security questions!!

I recently enabled reCAPTCHA "Are you a Human" feature instead and that has worked better than my custom security questions!!

We have custom questions as well which seems to be working at stopping the spambots. The problem seems to be with actual humans registering on the forum although it's not a huge issue as they aren't posting.
