Post about the most successful forum you've ever run, ~smile~

For me it was probably Power-Ads, managed something like 4,000 posts in something like two weeks (pretty good for a new forum)...unfortunately closed for several reasons.

What's yours?

Up to now i'd have to say Leap Ads, 15 members in the first day, 300+ posts on grand opening weekend. Also closed for a few reasons, but hopefully ill get around to fixing it one of these days and get it back up.

Ill be launching my newest website Monday, hopefully itll do much better, I have alot of hope for this one, never seen anything like it before -😉-

VGForums - 14000 Posts
Didn't have enough money to renew the vBulletin license so the forums was left.

The Prozzz, people who have been active since about febuary will probably remember it.

Reached 406+ Members, 20,000 Posts and had a solid community. That was all achieved in 6 months before we closed our doors for good after several attacks on us.

Most members of The Prozzz now seek refuge in Travis (theezy's) : Islandforum.net

I used to run a community called 'Bandits Place'. I'm sure some of u will have heard of it.

It was a general chat Ipb board, with over 500 members.

Dashing...
Old forum had 250+ members and 60,000+ posts. I moved it a few months ago because the host was annoying me. -_-

Though the new site isn't doing too bad. It's growing at a quicker rate than the old site.

Looks like you lot are starting to build up some good solid communities within some very different niches!

Is there anybody here running a really large forum?

How long have you been a Forummaster!?

The best forum I've managed....hmm...Kino's Board. I got around 4,000 posts after a while and about 90 registered users. No one posts on there anymore though.

500 members is good.

I mentioned i have a site with 10,000 uniques a month based around content, im looking to ad a forum to that

It will be harder turning those guests into members and even harder for the members that do join to post.
