It comes up with 0's for whatever website I put in.

I personally have never really paid much attention to Alexa rank. I used to own some forums and websites and I'm currently developing a new forum, however, I don't think I've ever even checked the Alexa rank of any of these websites. Alexa just isn't useful to me whatsoever and it's rank has no bearing whatsoever on your website or forum, so it's pretty useless, actually.

It's been posted several times the website to check your Alexa rank in the opening post is not working. It will produce 0's for any website you put in.

Alexa rank isn't that reliable, it relies on the browsing activity of the alexa toolbar to collect it's data, so the ranking is only of Alexa users, not internet users.

Windows actually classes the Alexa sidebar as malware.

You also have to remember that the rankings are only really updated every three months.

In the past Alexa has thrown up some weird rankings, at one time it place YouTube above Google.
