Whats your best excuse to avoid a difficult, or uncomfortable situation

They'll get the hint if you use that one 😀

Sometimes I just flat say that they're making me uncomfortable and then that's that.

My brother will run off and go hide out in the bathroom when people annoy him.

He's camped out in the toilet for as long as 2 hours because customers who never buy anything stop in to talk to him and he doesn't want to deal with them.

He ended up quitting his job as a car salesman stating that he was sick of being people's captive audience over their bs.
 
I tend to face-up to uncomfortable situations. I have a (bad) habit of drawing attention to the elephant in the room rather than pretending it doesn't exist. I also have a wicked sense of humour which probably doesn't help.
