I thought of this thread because I just finished making a TON and I mean TON of fettuccine for my daughter's boyfriend who is vegan and said he loved the pasta I made him for Christmas. Today I made him plain fettuccine and then a batch made with basil and saved a portion of each so my husband and I can have some for dinner. I'm drying the pasta in a room we don't use and the room is filled. I really need my daughter to make me a drying tree to hang it on.

I usually make homemade ravioli (husband's family recipe) once a year and it's a lot of work so making fettuccine is still a lot but not as much work. Eating the ravioli fresh is better than freezing it which is how his family always did it. It took a while for me to learn to love ravioli.

So what pasta is YOUR favorite?

Pesto Chicken Pasta is my favorite. Sadly I haven't had it in a while due to my S/O not liking it, and it's just too expensive right now to make two full meals for each other.

I love pesto! Have you had a pesto pizza? mmm

You can make your own pesto with fresh basil!

Normally fettuccine is my favorite. Sometimes I'll have it plain, sometimes I'll have it with chicken in it. It depends on the restaurant I'm going to and which one I feel like eating at that moment.

Try rationing the chicken for up to 40% mushrooms, you will thank me later that you can save on the costly bird and reduces your main carbon footprints to boost. 😉

I like the same but since I am vegetation I obviously forgo for the chicken when my mom makes it for the house. YUM YUM!

I'm very picky and don't eat mushrooms lol. I could try pureeing them I guess. (I have to puree 90% of everything that goes into my food, onions, garlic, mushrooms, etc. as I can't eat it if they have chunks lol). My diet is the opposite of vegetarian as I only eat Broccoli, occasional Lima Beans, and then granny smith apples are the only fruit/vegetables I actually eat whole. It's mostly a meat diet, which is why I like pesto I think because it has vegetables and stuff pureed in it that I'm able to eat.

If you are worried try this in tacos first, that's the most suitable for this "trick of the books".

Sounds weird but according to sources online mixing mushrooms in your meats generally increases it's enjoyments up to that 40%. After that adding any more will make it taste mushroomly off.
