Very good choice my friend, same here. What do you think of Paul Lambert as our new Manager aswell as the signings he has made so far? Who has impressed you the most and who do you see as possible January transfer targets? 🙂

Yeah Lambert is a solid gaffer, with time he will get it right no problems. Yeah the signings are decent, Holman although he was a McLeish signing looks the business, Vlaar & El Ahmadi are beasts, Lowton is gonna develop into a cracking fullback, and Benteke is gonna be good in time, Westwood im looking forward to seeing more of.

January we need a new striker, thats about it IMO..

I couldn't agree more but if we are going to go for another striker I think we have to spend big again, someone to partner Darren Bent up front.

I haven't seen anything that great from Delfouneso yet, not in the first team anyway but I hear he has been good in the youth/reserve teams. Hopefully he will step that up and perform well in the first team one day.

IMO Bent will be sold in January, his heart isnt at Villa, and Lambert seems hit & miss on him. According to reports were after Charlie Austin from Burnley, a youngster who certainly knows where the net is. Delfounese IMO isnt gonna make the grade with us, he has been at the club awhile now but not took his chances when played in the first team, scored a couple when played in the cup games, he is out on loan at Blackpool at present, havnt heard him setting the Championship alight...

Yeah, I guess Bent isn't getting the service he wants and he is relying on others to provide it for him so he can finish off the chance, which he is good at but I do prefer a player with good work rates and one who will run around the pitch none stop, plenty of energy and stamina would be good.
